Default First time out with the truck

Well we had a track rental this pass saturday and i decided to run the truck to see how it would do. I ran on 285/55/20 street tires. Track was a little slippery due to the heat, but over not too bad for the first time out. I made 5 passes total but only 2 were worth anything. I have some 315/60/15 MT DR's to try out next time and will run the nitrous with that. But if i can get my 60's down on motor i think i can get a 13.99 which would make me happy. I need some gears too seeing as the truck falls on its face just after the 1/8 mile mark.

14.74@94 with 2.6 60 ft
14.43@96 with 2.29 60 ft

only 14.4 with 351rwhp? Somethings wrong man.

Your 60ft would have to be like 3.x seconds.

Loose some weight, and is that 4900 lbs with you in it?

I ran an 8.3 with a weight of 4700lbs with me in it in good weather with my old cam. Thats a pretty low 13 second pass, and that was with 325rwhp.

What was your 60ft?

yes 4900 with me in it and 1/2 tank of 93. 60 ft times are in the first post 2.6 and 2.29. it was spinnin bad and i had to lift on the launch and the 1-2 shift it would spin some too. it was about 85* out with 70% humity so that might be a factor too. I believe on my 14.43 run my 1/8 mile was 9.8 or so

thats what i'm hoping. on your 8.3 run was that on street tires or stickies? what cam were u running at that time? what kinda 60 ft did you have with that? i just want to know where i stand compared to other trucks. i cant wait to spray this thing too, just having issues with the window switch ATM.

That run was on slicks, with my old 216/220 cam, and my 60ft was 1.83

The weather was in the 60s on that run I think.

Your also running a heavy wheel with large tires. throw some stock 17's on the front and slicks in the rear and i bet you will see mid 13's
