Just looking to seee what other people are running for exhaust, on their Hemi trucks..My Dad is looking to wake up his new purchase..but not redneck style either,lol.
Any sound clips, or pics would be great.

 

I'm running a SI/DO Dynomax Super Turbo, also have an SRT-10 tailpipe that has a resonator. Nice mello sound but you can tell it's not stock. If I were your Dad (I'm 48) I would keep the stock tailpipe with the resonator and just change out the muffler. The resonator really helps keep the interior resonation down, which I for one can't stand, bothers my ears. Whatever muffler he chooses, make sure it's a big one, the larger the muffler, the quieter it'll be.

Yea, thats kinda what I had in mind..I thought about a 50 series Flowmaster, which they make them for SUV's/Trucks and yes the resonator would stay.. He's 54yrs old, and an "old school" racer, so he doesn't mind it TOO much, just not the "redneck" cackle...sounds like poo.

Found a few clips on youtube, but I can't find specifics.

 

I had a Magnaflow 3 inch Single In / 2.5 inch Dual Out with tips out the pass. side in front of the rear tire with daytona ram tips. I loved it. I will be doing the same to my 07 ram.

 

used to have a 2006 ram 4x4 qc hemi, and with magnaflow you can`t go wrong, I think personally that is the best band for the buck

i'll have something new in a couple weeks...pretty aggressive though, going true duals off my longtubes to an H-pipe, then dual cutouts, then to a dumped Pypes Performance dual-in dual-out muffler....everything 2.5"

I've got true duals with H-pipe 2 SIDO Flows with dual Gibson tips each side in front of rears.

 

Im runnin 3" Duals from collectors to H to 3" DMH cutouts to 3" dual in/3.5" single out dumped after axle... and sounds like this...
