Default cummins beat by a powerstroke!?!

My buddy has an 05 5.9 ccsb 4x4. Its got an intake, str8 pipe, and Edge juice w/ attitude which is 5 stg. with the crazy larry still locked.
We went to the track and he could only run 15.0 on stg 5, and he was pissed cause his buddy ran a 14.8 in a ccsb 6.0 kingranch 4x4 with a banks 6 gun.
When he does a 4wheel boost the needle on the tach goes to 3k and then down to 2.5k and the ford can hold his at like 4k rpms which gives him the better takeoff.

What would help his truck wax the ford?
(a.e. bigger converter, adjusting the pre-boost screw if there is one, fuel plate?)

well level 5 on the edge is pushing it on the stock trans if hes using it alot. The trans slip any?

2nd. The edge is good but there are better tuners/programmers for the 5.9. Such as Smarty and i hear good on the PPE. I think he should make the high 14's with a smarty on sw#3 or #5. But tell him to start saving up for a HTS or Goerend built trans and then he can just crank that smarty up to sw#9 and hit the low to mid 13's.

he runs it on level 2, when he goes to the track he puts it on level 5. I told him not to get to crazy with it cause the dodge tranny weak. The truck shifts good and dosent feel like its slipping (yet).
