Default when i switch to hydroboost. what to do with the vacuum line.

So im going to switch from vacuum boost to hydro using a GM unit because they are plentiful and cheap. question is what to do with the vacuum line going to the intake when im all set and done. my truck is a 98 silverado 350. the line hooks to a part in the back of the intake.

cap it with a quality cap or even a short section of hose with a hose clamp and a plug.

you dont want that thing coming of...will make your motor angry.

pretty complicated. go to the parts store and find a cap that will fit and put it on.

wait, so what your saying is i gotta go to the store n get a cap> aw crap man. i cant do that. i can build a trans but i cant do that. thats way out of my league. i was just wondering. i work at jiffy lube (college kid) and when i see a vehicle with my motor and hydroboost i try and search on the intake for how its done... but i can never find it and i was just wondering. i figured just a plug but hey. i have a tendency to research everything before i do it. but thanks for the input. when i get the booster ill get that cork. reason im going hydro is no more vac. boost and can run a nice cam for the stroker and procharger.
