Good news. It sucks to hear about the iron LS1, but im sure it can be fixed, or dealt with later. I think you'll like the stock 6.0. Any plans on putting a cam in the six liter before you drop it in?

Yea im sure it can be fixed, I havent had time to get it apart its just sitting on a pallet wrapped up for now lol. I think im gonna build a car for that motor! Im really enjoyin the 6.0 right now, its a lil better on gas and it just purrs like a kitten! Im thinkin about putting a tr220 cam in it down the road after everyting money wise gets better!

Whats been going on with you latley?

Still rockin the stock 6.0, been driving it everywhere! Just been tweakin the tune and playing with the lean cruise. Gonna see what itll do in cool weather before I do swap in a cam.

sweet build man! i'm planning and researching for the same swap on my '78. i was wondering how hard was the crossmember mod for the 4l80 was? in my build thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=345612 i'm planning a 5.3 but ive been thinking about just saving a few more dollars for the 6.0. it would blow everyone away thats been following my build and it would be cool to have 2 6.0's in the driveway! thanks for all the awesome info. Dennis
