Im brand new to this site, and your thread was the only reason I signed up... I have a 1978 blazer mud truck that I have a ton of time and money in. My engine is getting tired from all the abuse. I have a friend that put a 6.0 into his 99 silveraldo and is now upgrading everything on it to a turbo setup. He is going to give me all his N/A pieces and help me install a 6.0 in my truck if i help him turbo his. Sounds like one hell of a deal to me, so I started researching the idea, and found this thread. All I have to say now is you convinced me with this thread to do it. Thank you for a very detailed build.

Your gonna love it! I have almost 2 years of running in my LSx swapped 79 C-10 and its the best engine swap I've ever done in it. I'm sure Byron would agree.

Yeah im realy looking foreward to this spring so I can do this swap... At the moment im currently lurking around this thread copying down all kinds of notes, and also im on another thread I found on pirate 4x4 about mounting a LSX to an old school SM465. I cant wait this thing is going to be a monster!!! Going to stay high compression N/A and get a 100 hp shot of nitrous for the mud pits.

Just tossing out an update... Found a nasty high compression bored and stroked 6.0 last night. Picking that up to put in my truck... This thing is going to stand up on its rear bumper and howl at the moon! cant wait to get back home and do this swap!!!
