Thanks! I have Weld Evo Velociti 8's on the 2002 truck. They have held up pretty well so far. On the 2005 tow rig I have Eagle 114's, they look almost identical to the Welds and are about half the price. Some people have reported the Eagles not holding up well, flaking chrome, etc. but mine have been great in GA so far. No salt to deal with.

18x9.5 with 6 inches of backspace running 285/60-18 tires. No trimming or rubbing.

damn, they almost do look alike ! thanks for the sizes! I have not seen this wheel combo around here and i might just have to get a set. The tires that come stock are a REAL EMBARASSMENT for such a BIG bad *** truck.

Yeah, the stockers suck. I am running Yokohama Geolanders on mine, they are a reinforced tire that have a higher load rating than the E load stockers. They handle, hook and tow better too!

good to know! im thinking about bfg A/T's. Im still on the fence about getting an 06 or 07, Imean about the supposed fuel difference which im still not sure how it will affect where and what type of diesel you need?

I'd get an 06 rather than deal with the jacked up 07 emissions BS. A simple additive to the new reduced sulfur fuel to boost the lubricity (which I run anyhow) is cheap insurance for the older diesels. I bet 07 will mark a downward turn for the diesels as the enviro-wacko's put a stranglehold on them like they did to the real muscle cars of the 60's and 70's.
