ok finally picked out my valtrain hopefully this will be all im gona do. im gona run a 224 r cam package with 918 springs and pushrods, and some Harland sharp roller rockers 1.8 non adjustable. let me know if these dont fit under stock valve covers cause idk. and for headers im leaing towards lpp with a high flow cat i have and a flowmaster. gona run a spal fan i have its about 16" hope it dose the work. and a computer tune from a local corvette place. i think thats it :-D

Sounds like a good setup, I have the harland sharp 1.8's and i had to cut a groove out on the head on the top side where the rocker sits cuz if i remember right the rocker wont even bolt down all the way before it hits. Also you will need atleast a 1/2" spacer for the valve cover to clear them as well.. Be sure the cam is capable of handling a 1.8 rocker.

As far as the flowmaster there good, but might consider a magnaflow... i've ran many flowmasters in the past but ever since i got my magnaflow i fell in love its nice ,smooth and quiet at low rpm but when you get on it there it will scream! plus if you want to keep the stock lookin exhaust such as myself you can turn them around for a dual inlet and single outlet. as the 2500hd are usually dual inlet single outlet from factory..
Just my 2 cents!!

keep it up man research will payoff in the longrun..

224 is great
Harland Sharp 1.8s - Save your money. Stock rockers are plenty good. You won't know the difference, between those and the stock rockers. Save the money, and buy the PRC dual Gold spring kit, instead of the Comp 918s
Spal fan - look for some 05 and up dual fans. You already have the 34" radiator. It will bolt right up

Ya i figured as much with all that extra stuff you gota do just to run the 1.8s. But im def running flowmasters its just how i roll. Get the motor sat. They said its only got 32k on it and for 1699 it better look like it when i pull the plugs and stuff.

Wow that thing better be in a crate from GM...lmao. I here ya on the exhaust good stuff.

On the fans go to a junk yard and pick some up out a truck. i went the ls1 fan route in mine and the actual 34" fan in my wifes truck and hers looks better than mine. plus the truck fans i think cool alot better than the ls1 IMO, i dont even think the 2nd fan comes on in my wifes truck lol... I picked hers up for $60 at a junk yard. there not always that cheap but im sure there not too bad..

Off of a truck? Yes, it will just be smaller than the radiator but to my knowledge everything should just bolt right up....
