Well, time to update this thread I guess. Yesterday I checked out the TLR-3 and the TLR-1S. The 1S had more light output, 160 lumens vs 110, and 2.5 hours battery life vs 1.5 hours. Plus it came with the batteries, suppposed to have a 10 year shelf life. Eh, whatever.

So I bought the TLR-1S, and a box of ammo.

got to use a tlr1 and its nice..
but i dont have a holster for it to fit so i just use a light in my pocket

Getting the new SA XDS .45acp so gotta start looking for holsters for it.


The easiest thing to do is just call Safariland and let them know what your lookin for.

 

Crossbreed says he will have holsters available at release time on the xds.

i was gonna offer to ship him my pistol to make a mold out of.....

 

SA gave him a mold I believe and he bought one for himself so either way he will have one.
