Default Widebands issues

i recently installed a pillar gauges and two of them are widebands, one for each bank. They work correctly and read about 13.5-14 af/r while cruising but randomly they pick up a interference from something else or something and start reading really low or high. Iv tried moving the ground, adding another ground from battery to frame, and unplugging one of the sensors all to try to trouble shoot. Anyone ever have this problem and can shed some light on my issue?? It usually happens after a hard pull but has happened while cruising too.

what brand? I have similar issues right now too, I have a Lc-2 and they suggest a power feed direct from battery- with fuse and relay setup

Are you sure its the wideband and not the computer commanding a different AFR? That is common if you still have the stuff for cats enabled.

No it’s defiantly not the true af/r, it’s way off. Sometimes it’ll shoot up to like 22 or go down to 10. And I’m not sure my truck has any program for the cats? My truck still has cats tho.

Well,

It's not going to stay exactly at stoich, no matter what you do.

Differences in air, temperature, barometric pressure all effect the readings.

And then there is what's called "transitional fueling", which again, alters the readings.

What do your STFT show? That's the true reading.
