Default Parish8, different widebands that are out there?

I can't get my truck done at the only place in the state, because they don't know what blowers sound like(won't do it) . So I need to buy a mobile wideband to do it myself. I have seen a couple before, but I didn't save the sites. I know I have seen some as cheap as 400, and as high as like 1200. Can you give me any advice on them, and where to buy?
I really appreciate it man. I am kinda in a hard place with no wideband available. Sam

it all depends on what you want to do with it and how much messing around you want to do. they have some home made set ups that i think can be had for less than $400 but that looked like a pain in the ***. they have some duel chanel units that might be cool, you could look at each bank but that cost more money.

i got the FJO set up with no dispaly, just the data loging hook up, it was somthing like $800, there was no hastle at all, just hook it up and load the soft ware and it works great, the display on the laptop is prety cool and it is easy to look at the logs and make adjustments.

i realy think the reason i have goten as far as i have with my STOCK 6.0 longblock is because of carefull tuning with the wideband/ls1edit and atap. i do not run if i can't stay out of KR(atap), i keep the a/f between 11-1 and 12-1. with all the right stuff(fjo, atap, ls1edit) it is easy to do, expensive though.

i might be able to send you the software and a log file or 2 if you want to check it out.

That's cool. I was looking at the FJO, but didn't know if it would work for our stuff. I see they have a Supra there and all.

is that the same one you are talking about?
Please do send me the file so I can check it out.
I need to get one that works well, since my little issue with the local dyno.I do have Atap, and Edit, too
Much appreciated man!! samuriarte@gci.net is my email

they have the kit i ordered listed for $625 now and it no longer includes the sensor, you have to buy that seperate now. i got the kit with dataloging only, no display. i tried to get one of the dealers they list to give me a discount but the ones that said they discount some didn't have any in stock and that they only knock off a couple of bucks so you will probably have to pay list price.

let me know what you think

Did you have to get any optional stuff? Like connectivity kit or any of that?
it looks like the tach hookup is optional too?
On the tach hookup, it says hook to a source that doesn't go above 12volts. What did you hook yours to?
What tach signal wire did you hook to?
I haven't messed with this stuff, so it's a little confusing, but I am sure I can figure it out, if I know what it goes to.
Thanks for all the help! Sam
