Just out of curiosity, you said that it as a lack of power after the tune. So, did you install the cam and tune it on the same day, or did it haul ****, and then you had it tuned and now it is gutless? Because I am also starting to lean towards a cam that has been installed too far advanced, but only if it was slow after the cam swap. Also, like I said, you need to look into the problem of the sensors asap, either fix the problem that is causing a bad reading, or replace the sensor, whichever the case may be.

no the tune is not the issue. i was just saying i went and got it tuned the day i made this post and he told me i may have a weak fuel pump. the cam and motor were put in back in nov. 09, the truck has never ran right. allen has done his best to make the truck drivable for me. it has ran better though then it just got worse. it use to spin the tires at 55mph (real crappy tires there always funner). I hope when i trade all my coils, maf, and change the knock sensors this sunday the truck will stop pulling timing.

it might be worthwhile to have a compression test done on all cylinders to rule that out

Changing the maf and the knock sensors wont help if they have been turned off in the tune.

It sounds like operator error.I bet my 5.3 could beat your truck to 155 with my eyes closed on a Diablosport tuner and my LT's...That is weak but can beat a NNBS 4.6 GT. Fix your truck then go to a tuner.Your episode is weak.I will trade you your "free tune" for Nelson's redone anyday! Farmtruck I'm ready!
