Most dyno pulls start at roughly 3k so you cannot see the real gains down low, but if youre looking there you dont look at horsepower. You look at torque. The torque comes up with the smaller cams like a 212/218 etc. Pack in more lift and even down low itll gain.

That kit does not include everything you need and comes with a stock ls truck cam and the intake gaskets wont fit either.

If you want ebay then buy ebay but dont say i didnt warn you.

If you dont want a valve spring swap and IF your heads have the yellow or blue ls6 springs then we can get you the tsp stg2 truck cam and subtract $120 from the kit price i quoted you for springs.

w/ a mild cam I get roughly 50hp not just 5hp.

are you saying the stock cam is decent for lowend grunpt.

RPMSPEED pm sent
I like the price quote for dod/afm delete + cam swape

I like some details. make bolt upgrade ect.

glad I posted never knew cams where designed for trucks (sorry new to trucks not new to 1500 vans) real low for troque. I like the sound of a loping low LSA like 112 however want to be stealthie

now I can make a more educated estimate on cam selection

RPM after I remove afm hardware /upgrade cam where will I get mail order tune for preformance and dod/afm delete?

btw.is the ECM located inside cabin?

I have my orginale LS1 cam from my 99WS6 can it be used?

For a 6.0 that cam is ok but a 5.3 lacks the cubic inch to bring up the bottom end. The stg2 high lift is the most i would go for towing and hauling apps honestly. You reach a point of diminishing returns quickly when looking for towing power.

You won't want a mail order tune, no tuner is will ever be able to guess at the adjustments needed for a cam swap. No two engines will require exactly the same amount of timing, airflow and fueling to make them run good.

You'll have to figure out who does tuning near you or trailer it somewhere for a custom tune. Or learn to tune yourself but that is no simple task.
