315 just means you need to go to the dealer and get a crank relearn done takes all of 5 minutes no big deal. Who tuned it?

Should of used Allen Nelson!!! Then you wouldn't be having these problems.

Anyone with a newer scan tool, such as a Tech 2, Genisys and Snap-on can do a crank position relearn. As posted before, only takes a few minutes to get it done. It doesn't have to be a dealer. You should only have gotten that code if you changed out your PCM to one that wasn't stock. My tuned PCM is sitting in the box, it just came in on the 15th. Won't get a day off for a couple of weeks to be able to install and get the relearn done. There should be a number of places in the Houston area that can do this. Good luck.

I have access to a Genisys, but not really too sure how to do a crank relearn with it.
I can scan, read codes, and do real time read outs. I can also make it do specific tests, but never seen anything about crank relearn.
I'd help the guy out, but I would need help helping him.
Inform me.

How updated is your Genisys? Worst 3k I ever spent! I will have to wipe the dust off and check. But if you Select the make, model, etc.. Go under Special Tests and it should be in there.
