Default Tune guru's

I have all of a sudden been having an issue with my idle dropping down when coming to a stop of just manuvering around low speed, and dies on occasion, act like a vacuum leak in the sence the idle hunts for a moment when it drops, but then it doesnt act like a vac leak the way it runs and idles in park or in just sitting. Now I did install longtubes&highflow cats 2 months ago which can effect tuning I know but it seems I noticed this a couple weeks after the LTs went on.Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.Gnz

Have you check for any exhaust leaks?
A leak could be fooling with the O2 sensors.

You are right that the smallest can throw off the sensors but the best I can tell these headers/sensors are sealed up solid.

re-torque your header bolts down . . . get the engine hot, and try tightening them again.

Any big swings in temperature. Real cold will make it hard to maintain heat in the front 02's with long tubes and they'll sniff different/wrong AF when cold vs hot. You mentioned idling around and at a stop. Just a thought and way out there I know.

That makes sense, you may have nailed it,been cold as a witches tit here a while. Some tuning may compensate,I just didnt want to cover up a problem, being that its cammed will effect it to. I just dont remember my last truck doing this in cold weather,It did have a smaller tubed header and OE cats instead of highflows. Thanks
