Question tune for '06 2500HD for better mpg ?????

I have an'06 2500HD/6.0/tow haul equip......tired of 12 mpg/gas prices.......buddies have eact same set up and get 18 with factory program...they drive like hell, I drive conservatively.....anybody have experience with the aftermarket plug and play programmers as far as performance and their ability to increase mpg? If so which are the better ones........thanks.........

There are a few lsx tuners up north..
The most notable IMO would be Tune Time Performance down in Toms River nj...

295 miles from Nedrow and they pump out some fast lsx stuff

Chuck Cow (Corvettes of Westchester) is located in ny also..
