Default trans wiring help

so a few months ago i bought a "uncut" wiring harness from a member that was missing both connections that go to the neutral saftey switch. i went to the junk yard and bought the plugs i needed and noticed that there are 2 green wires 2 yellow wires and to black/white wires on each side. does it matter how they are wired? how can i tell them apart? any help here would be awesome.

Try finding a pinout diagram for your harness/PCM, then use a multimeter on the continuity setting to match the wire at the trans to the wire at the PCM.

I suggest you double check, but it looks like black/white from range switch goes to blue 32.
black/white from pnp switch goes to blue 40.
yellow from range switch goes to blue 72.
yellow from pnp switch goes to... not sure.

The yellow from the pnp can be found going into the fuse box under the hood. I suspect it might not go to the PCM. See my post here. This is wiring on my '01 5.3L, you're might be different, but you sig says 2000 so it should be the similar.

Are you doing a LS swap into an older vehicle? If you are, you don't need the range sensor.
