You still kept 5th and 6th gear right? I know some guys don't when they proshift 'em. If you did, then it'll be fine. I drove a proshifted Muncie on the street for awhile and it works. Just like any new setup it just takes some *** time getting used to it.

I really considered faceplating 2-4th on mine but then I spun back to reality again and I wanted something that drives like stock. a proshifted/faceplated tranny can easlily be driven on the road everyday with a 1st-2nd quick shift then straight to synchroed 5th. Man there is nothing like driving a proshifted tranny at the track, come off the line at 6k, never lift the gas and just tap the clutch...yanking the front wheels in every gear! Ok, i've got to go to the bathroom now.

My rpms are a little too low now. I'm getting 2-3* KR cruising at 80mph & 1800rmp when going uphills on the interstate. I'm getting duals run Mon with an xpipe hoping that will improve my low end but I may be doing a gear swap as well if things don't get better. Maybe 4.56's but seriously considering 4.88's, i'm doing 60 mph in the top of first now with the 4.30's and these 275/55-20 tractor tires

I have decided to try the 410 with my swap. I am running 373 right now and it is doing 1800 at 80 miles an hour. I am going to try the 410 because I do some towing and in 5th gear I do not want to be screaming down the road. I still have the 373 in my JG truck and they are awesome for my daily driving habits

my 11.5:1 compression and 8.8 DCR definately has something to do with my KR.

Sorry I didnt feel like reading through 26 pages of info but I just purchased a 2000 Camaro t56 for my LQ9 240z setup. I was told that some of the older t56's need a spacer to work correctly with the LQ9 and that I should buy a certain type of throwout berring so I can shift at high RPM's since the older ones dont let you.

I'm using a LS2 Flywheel, LS7 clutch/PP.

the spacer is referring to the older 6.0s. no worry wit ha LQ9
as for the slave cylinder you want a 01/02 Z06 fbody one
to allow high rpm shifts you need to do the drill mod in the clutch line

and you can see the small gap from the newer console that doesnt work so well with the 02 and older dashes

for some reason my camera made my dash seem off in color. i also had a floursecent light above it at the time...might of been that reason
