there is 163,xxx should i be lookin forward to a rebuild here pretty soon?

Yes definitely take the handheld programmer off it is junk...imo. All the handheld does is stiffen up your shifts nothing really for performance other than advancing a little timing (87, 89, 91 octane modes).

Take it off if you havent already and just see what it will do. I doubt you will notice too much of difference as the handheld will not stiffen up the shifts as much as you have described. Getting a tune can decrease the shift firmness from 2-3 and prolong your transmission for awhile longer. You may want you look into getting a rebuild kit.

its not recommended to do a trans flush on one that has 100k+ on it... take the tune out of it and report back..

ok so after taking the tuner off and driving maybe 10 miles, enogh to let the trans warm to about 125ish, it started shifting just as hard. so in other words no change at all...
what do yall think mechanical or the module? tranny fluid level is good not over filled.

one more thing i've noticed it does it under normal throttle if get on it hard its shifts fine. im pretty much thoroughly confused.
