The 1-2 shift lurches under low-to-medium throttle....can't say that I like that very much. Other than that it seems pretty good.

Found some interesting differences between the stock '04 Avalanche tune and the stock '03 Avalanche tune in Performance (Tow/Haul) mode. Wonder why they're different?

those values look fine the shift time table is part of torqmanagment I leave some in on normal and 0 it out on performance
As far as the 1 to 2 I finally found a way to fix it dont adjust the force motor table instead there is a modifier table 1-2 upshift you will notice some negative and positive values referenced to temp play around with it add -1 across the board and see how you like it. Also the base shift pressure table you can 0 out the first couple columns that will help
On the force motor table nothing wrong with going down just dont go up. Ive messed with the last column being 0 or max value Iv found it grabs the gear better wot with it set at a max value both are supposed to be full bleed off.
Check out jimmy blues tunes that he's posted on horist his **** is extreme but works really well and will give you a base to go off Ive had good luck playing with his ls1 stuff and he really really knows his ****.

Thanks 02sierraz71_5.3.

I've found some other variances, with the TCC Apply/Release Speed vs. %TPS vs. Gear table....do I need to worry about changing these back to stock?

Look at your Max Line Pressure under shift properties stock is 90. You were showing 96 in some of your tables. Most people on hptuners board say thats way to much. The shorter the shift time is the more firm the shift feels. Higher base shift pressures and short shift times give you a hard shift.

I have a shift kit with servo and run a slightly higher shift pressure and short shift times and have had no problems in 12K miles. I have stock max line pressure and force motor current.

honestly when the tc locks is almost a subjective matter it depends on what rpms you want to operate in. Even with the big cam I have it pulls more with it locked even under 2000 rpms low tps
this will take tinkering to get a feel for it Im still messing with it periodically
