Not sure what kind of help your looking for really. Basically when I did mine, I just made sure I had some good gas in her and they straped it down and ran it.

Are you just getting a dyno run done or are you tuning it too?

You forgot the addendum to tip #3... sell the truck like nothing is wrong and disappear off the forum...

As some may notice, This closely echoes the tips for making a lot of power and then breaking parts so that the truck is undriveable.

With the smartdonkey responses everyone gave him, I'd be surprised if he ever comes back. YenkoST, if you are still out there, sorry I didn't see your post earlier, but here are some tips:

Make sure the engine is thoroughly warmed, so that you're not running in "cold engine" (old fashioned "choke is on") mode.

Have the operator either dyno it in 2nd gear, or if they refuse, then in 3rd gear. The fewer shifts the better.

Make sure they are monitoring AFR during the dyno. Sometimes they forget, but the info is invaluable.

Make sure they do all the runs you are paying for, and that they give you both a graph and a table printout for each run.

I see from your sig that you apparently don't have FI, but if you add it later, have them blow some cold air over the intercooler, or fill the coolant reservoir with ice, or do what is necessary to get the IAT temps down. One large source of discrepancy between the dyno and the street is that on a dyno the vehicle is stationary, so the intercooler is ineffective.

Hope some of this helps for any subsequent dyno tests. Again, sorry I was too late.
