Well it looks like I spoke to soon on my truck. I did not disconnect the battery on my truck as I wanted to see if there were any active codes.
There were only History codes. I cleared ALL codes in every module I could find. The warning came back on the display. No codes found and the charging system seems to be working correctly.
I did a little further digging and it looks like it could be related to the "battery generator control module" or possibly the alternator it self. The battery generator control module is located on the Ground Cable and has what looks like an 8 or 10 pin connector plugged into it
It appears to be charging and maintaining a charge every time I have looked and tested it.
I have the correct battery in this truck so that should Not be the issue, but I have yet to test it and rule it out 100%
