I hope this is the correct section to ask this question. I am trying to raise the rev limiter as high as possible on my Predator for truck pulling. so I raise the rev limiter and the shift point. Even if i put the truck in first gear, it still cuts of at 5500. Is there something going on with like a governer in the transmission or something? I know with most shift improver kits, the advertise hold gears to any rpm. Is this what I need? Any help would be much appreciated. And yes I already know there is no power up there in the 6500+ range, I am just looking for additional momentum so as the weight comes on the sled I am moving faster without being out of first gear. there's two rev limiters on your truck, make sure you adjust the one for "ETC" (electronic throttle control), otherwise you aren't doing anything
