Default Predator

Someone just told me that the Predator cannot just be uninstalled and used on another vehicle. They said that Predator charges $99 to unmarry it to the vehicle in order to use it on another vehicle. I am going to be really pissed off if this is the case. My instruction booklet and their web site says nothing about this, atleast that I can find.

I Don't believe that is true. I Think once it is unlocked it can be installed in another Vehicle. Be sure to remove the fuses they tell you to remove, and unplug anything thats useing any kind of power (That screwed me up on a new one). and be sure that the year of your vehicle is whats supported by the unit. if it doesn't work, I don't think it's unlocked. and you may want to whip someone.

well it depends, if it is a newer version with the newer software, it will most likely unlock the vin once you load the stock tune back on.

Just called Tech support and they said that only the '99-'02 Diablos needed tech support to unlock.
