Default PCM memory loss???

04 Silverado 4.8 with 194k

I've been driving the truck for a few years with no problems except when I get it inspected I have to drive around for an hour and leave it running

Basicly when I shut the truck off it will erase any codes and will reset the drive cycle monitors I checked all fuses and check pin c1 20 and have 12v to the pcm does this mean I need to replace the pcm to fix the problem?

It should be throwing a code for memory loss.... Dont remember exact code, but sounds like an internal issue with the pcm

So a new pcm should take care of it?
It probably won't throw a code because it doesn't know its losing the flash memory

I would be scared to pay the money to have it tuned if its losing memory, i cant think of anything out side of the pcm, save losing all power with key off or during cranking or somthing that would cause a complete memory loss like that.....code should be thrown after startup when the pcm doesnt have anything to revert back to as youre probably losing your adaptives too
