Default Nelson Tune and Warrenty

I just contacted nelson about getting a tune and he said it won't affect the warrenty at all. anybody want to back this up? I just wanna double check before I do anything. Also, when I got my AEM intake installed, they said that it would void the warrenty? I bought the truck from Parkway Chevrolet in Tomball so if anyone knows exactly how strict this dealer is on warrenty and such?

Nothing should technically void the warranty unless they can prove whatever you've done has directly caused the problem. I believe it is under the Magnusson Moss Act.

Example: Say your transmission goes out...they can't deny your warranty because you have an aftermarket intake installed. If they were so inclined to deny it they would still have to prove how the intake has anything to do with it.

Hope this helps bro,

aiight thanks, i think i'll buy the nelson tune as soon as i build up the money. he said he had a guy with a stock 4.8 run a 16.4 and after the nelson tune, he ran a 15.4

Another question. Where exactly is the PCM located? Pics would be great.
