What gauge wires are on the PCM? 10 or 12?

I'm going to attempt to hook up valet mode today and I'd really rather not have to unhook the pcm just to see what size wire to get. Too difficult for me to get to it.

 

more like 20 or 22.. its some small stuff.

 

wow. I thought they were a little thicker than that from last time I took it out.

 

as i look at this image close I think your right on that.

 

last time i hooked up some Efans i just got some 18ga and soldered it to a PCM pin that i got from someone and the 18ga was larger than the wire on the pin.

 

Is the pin easy to get out? I was wondering about that.

 

If you dissamble the connector its a piece of cake.
someone had send me some PCM Pins with about 6" wire attached. so i just soldered my wire to it and installed it. Didnt have to remove any.

ok well i did remove one after i put it in the wrong place.. haha. it was easy.

I'ma run to napa and pick up some 18-20awg and a small switch.

 

cool.. what kinda valet switch are you doin?

 

I'm gonna use it as an anti-theft. Probably just make it not start.
