Default need 6.0 efi tune

i originally had a 4.8 in my 99 gmc. I swapped it for a LQ9 back in 05'. Left the 4.8 tcm and has been runnin like that since. I sold it to my nephew back in 05' and he never paid the full amount, so I got the truck back. Been sitting forever... anyways, I purchased EFI for my GMC diesel and have two licenses with it. I already tuned my diesel and want to tune the 99 to the 6.0 now. Anyone have or know anyone that has a stock 6.0 tune? The motor is stock, I bought it straight from the dealership..
TIA
phil

Check the EFILive website for the depository of tunes, I believe it is: http://www.holdencrazy.com/EFILive/stockTunes.php

There is an 04 Escalade tune--drive by wire--that is stock.

I think you will need a tune from a 99-00 to be compatible with the PCM you have.

Since he has an 05 engine, I would think the "engine calibrations" should be the same. He would have to make the necessary adjustments for the DBW and returnless fuel system (injector flow rate, etc). Both PCMs have about the same amount of programable data (90K) it is the firmware that is different.

Thnk you are right about going with a 99-00. I copied the data from the 06 6.0 lq9 to my 4.8 pcm and now my truck will not start. going to start over on the 04 escalade and see they are closer together. The motor is an 05, but im using the wiring/pcm from the 4.8 still. I just took the intake off the 4.8 and placed it on the 6.0 and it started right up.. just a lil rough on warm up.
Aight gonna try to copy the 04 escalade tune over to my pcm and c what happens. Man, holdencrazy has put together an awesome starting point with the stock pcms.
