When you "changed coil packs", did you just switch sides or try new ones all together?

He tried different ones off a known good running truck. Not trying to answer for Josh just ruling things out to keep the ideas coming.

Since Pat thinks its a multiple cyl misfire I'm going to hold off on replacing coil springs until I change my crank sensor.

Anyone done a crank sensor before? Any tips on doing this?

Easy as can be, 10mm bolt (I think) holding it to the block right above the starter. Unclip connector, take off bolt, pull out, put in new sensor. Probably have to drop the starter to get to it though.

Yeah, i was looking for tips on removing the starter. Just wondering if it can be done without needing to unbolt and move the header or not and how hard are the bolts to get at?

Pretty sure the header can stay, starter is just 2 13mm bolts. Disconnect the battery first though.

Still no updates, sorry guys, been busy, then got sick with a fever for about a week, then got busy again. Saturday morning i'm going to do some re-routing of my pcv system at the suggestion of 03sierraslt and also change out the crank sensor (if i can find one local).
