Default Mail order tune opinions

Hey all. As you can see, i'm located in edmonton alberta and as far as i can tell there are no local dyno tuners, so here is my compromise. I'm going to be ordering a mail-order tune soon, and i have narrowed it down to three alternatives: PCM4Less, Wait4ME, or JET Performance. The first two seem to be well proven around here, however i cant find either there website or if they even do anything for my truck. I first read about JET in High Performance Chevy magazine, where they installed one in a 91 350 TBI motor. As far as i know, the 91 is identical to my motor, and the review in the mag said that substantial performance gains were found throughout the RPM range, as well as a 2 MPG fuel economy increase. So the question is what should i be doing? And before it even starts, Nelson mailorders are simply out of my price range haha. JET is asking 160 + shipping, and i think the other two are comparable. Sorry for the long winded question, just trying to get informed. Thanks.

I'm not sure on what is offered for an '89 GM vehicle but there is a tuner in Canada...might save you on international shipping.
I have never heard of Jet's tuning but PCM4Less, Wait4ME are both sponsors here and do their fair share or mail order tuning but again, the TBI is a different animal than the LSx when it comes to computer mods.

i think ill let dewmanshu tell you how good the JET tune is

either of the other two would be fine, if they support your vehicle

Well i check both out again, and PCM4less is simply out of my price range. I emailed wait4me, so i'll have to wait till they get back to me. And I would really appreciate any more opnions and suggestions, especially concerning JET and W4M.

Well, there is some options....there is TBIchips.com, www.cfm-tech.com, Turbo-City, LSRacingChips.com, and PCM4less.

Oh, don't go with a generic tune, there is better stuff out there.

Did u check Nelson Performance? I think ull find all will be useful, some more accessable than others. prob is when u get into bigger mods then it become real hit and miss IMO...Isn't Westers (Westars?) in Calgary? Look for posts by DrX on here...he's from WPG and might have some info for ya. As I live the tuning nitemare I can honestly say that all the best tuner guys seem to live somewhere else! R/
