Got my 07 classic dyno tuned!
#1
Well let me start off this dyno that I go to usually dynos around 15-20 rwhp lower than normal. He adjusted the AFR a little and bumped the timing up (Im using E85 fuel for higer octane). He said E85 AFR is different from regular gasoline, so he has to check into it. After bumping the timing up there was still no knock. He said there is still some that they can get out of it. He did get me a extra 10rwhp at mid range 3500 rpm. So im going back out there after he gets his E85 info and getting it retuned. Now the horsepower numbers was way low but the torque was way up from what I expected and the curve was FAT!
Final numbers 211rwhp 280rwtq @3000 rpm! This is a bone stock truck other than the KN filter and computer tune.
BTW Hemis for comparison 2wd RCSB with exhaust and intake dyno 255rwhp so my numbers are probley higher.
So now both the tuner and I are gonna see what you can get out of E85 and the increase in power it has over 91 octane. From 0-60 this truck pulls pretty good all Tq management and abuse modes were disabled and me also played with the throttle body (Making it open faster).
Thats all.

E85 should be around 104 octane and run considerably more timing. Make sure the tuning software has the octane tables for both ethanol and gasoline. (GM has the tables) Diablo has an alky programmer on the market now that boasts 30hp increase over stock gas/alky programming.

Diablo is what I am using, but not the one for E85. He is just do a custom tune on it. Hopefully my numbers will be higher after its done. He added 4* of timing and still no knock. Plus this motor only has 5,000 miles on it so as it gets looser hopefully it will let some horsepower free.
