Low idle problems
#1
I have a 04 5.3 with 3.73, stage 2 tsp highlift with headers and trudual exhaust. Im having a problem when i turn off the a/c when on idle it will just stall. Same when going into a stop and reversing wants to stall and when going back to drive wants to stall untill i give it some gas to keep the rpms up. Do i need to fix the idle a/c tables? It idles at 600ish. It pulls hard over 3000
On a side note i cant do a burn out. I was able to do it when i was stock so whats up with this?

Is it tuned at all and who did the tuning if so?
600rpm is too low for an idle rpm in my opinion. Needs 700-750. Timing and fueling need to be steady at idle and just off idle too.
A few things can be way it's low on power. Timing/fueling are wrong, torque mngt and other settings may be wrong. That camshaft should be making power before 3,000rpm, most stage 2 camshafts are roughly 212/218 in size.

Yes its tuned. Took it to a shop where they only deal with ls engines. I have recently bought hp tuners. Im getting the hang of it but as of right now i dont have a laptop to save the file, need to wait until tomorrow. It is a 212/218. I agree i feel stock was faster before 3k rpm. I cant even do a peel out lol
