Default idle issue

i thought that i had this damn thing fix and i could stop turning wreches for a couple weeks but i guesse not... anyway most of the time it starts up and idles just fine... right about 500 rpm... then i put it in gear drops a tad but no big deal... when im backing out of my driveway and tap the gas in revers when i come to a stop to put it in drive the idle drops to like 400 and feels like its going to die... not sure if its a tuner issue or what the deal is.... let me know what could cause this

Thanks

Remove and clean your IAC (Idle Air Control). Mine started to idle erratically and when I pulled the IAC it was covered in crud. Cleaned it up and the idle problem went away. I also did the idle relearn right after cleaning it.

It is installed on the top driver's side of the Throttle Body. You can remove just the IAC or you can pull the whole TB and clean everything. It is a black plastic part.

Could still be worth checking. Mine was fine for about 80K and then the idle just started acting up all of the sudden. Not saying it is the problem but you could pull it in less than a minute and know for sure.
