Default Logging outside ambient temp?

Are any of you logging the outside temp in you NBS truck/suv in either HPT or EFI? I have the ambient sensor in the grille that displays in the rearview mirror on the Tahoe but I cannot find the PID in HPT. I primarily want it for the truck, which does not have the sensor or rear view mirror but it does have the pigtail for the sensor up front, so that I can log ambient vs IAT. I wanted to be sure it was loggable before buying the sensor for the truck. HPT does not list the sensor but if I knew the sensor number I could create a custom PID assuming the temp sensor goes thru the PCM rather than the BCM. :dunno:
