lc1 to hptuners
#1
Ok I found the video that tells how to set up the wideband for the lm1 with hptuners. My question is when you are changing the analog output settings for the lc1, they tell you to change the voltage to 0v-10afr, 5v-20afr in both 1 and 2 outputs. Analog 2 gos to the gauge, will this mess up the gauge readings. If so what is the correct procedure, thanks Nick

Im not sure how you need to set it up since im a Efilive guy but do check that your settings are set to read in AFR and not Lambda in the LM programmer when connected to your interface.. Also a serial cable helps alot if you have that option

Figured I'd dig this up rather than start my own thread.
How do you guys hook your LC-1 up to HPT pro? I have what looks like 2 headphone jacks, but HPT looks like it will just take a direct line from a wire. How have you all done this?

Yes the LC-1 has wires that connect to your Pro
Fairly well documented at hptuners forum.
Short version= LC1 green is ground goes to pin 5 on your EIO
LC1 brown is output goes to pin 1,2,3, or 4 on your EIO
Also, i would use the 'headphone jacks' according to the manual to program the controller to a slower response rate.
Ive read somewhere that setting it too fast has the potential to read between puffs of exhaust.
Probably not an issue but i slowed mine down.
Here is a link to hpt where they show the pinout for both LC1 and HPT Pro.

There isn't a green wire on the LC-1. And I need to use the yellow wire because my gauge is hooked up to brown.
I need to reprogram the yellow wire but my laptop doesn't have the correct connection got the wire supplied by innovate.

In order to program my lc1 I had to get a USB to serial adapter from staples.
20 dollars I think.
Innovate needs to enter this century and ditch the serial connector. No one has those any more.
