Default Keyless ignition system

I posted this in the general electronics section and didnt get one bite so I thought I would try here...

Alot of the new vehicles have it now days and I have searched and searched for a way to have the Key Fob ignition activation and then just add a Honda 2000 push button start on my truck. I have also read alot of posts in the past of people saying cant be done or would be too expensive to warrant doing it and then...

I came across this for automobiles and I am pretty stupid when it comes to this area of things but it seems that someone could tailor this to work on our trucks and, Im not even exactly sure how this particular contraption works but you dont know if you never ask.

I'm sure some that knows way more about this will chime in correct me but at first glance I just thought it might be manageable

I wonder if it gets hooked up similar to a remote starter, but with the button instead of the remote.

Sounds feasible, but you would need the security bypass modules as you would with a remote start. I'm sure something would have to be done with the ignition as without the key the steering locks. That and when you press the brake the vehicle shuts down.

Seems to me after doing this you could remove the ignition out of the steering column all together which would keep it from locking etc, but once again I don't have a clue about this sort of thing so that is why I was inquiring

I will, I'm putting back funds for a T56 swap right now, once that is done this is the next mod just for the coolness factor. After done I will do a complete write up on it.
