Default Just started an SD tune any thoughts?

I spent the last few days trying to dial my truck in with HP Tuners and a SD 2 Bar tune. I think I have the VE setup correctly, but it doesnt look like anyone elses VE table. Anyone want to have a look at it? Change the extension of the txt file to cfg.

You need to disable your STFT's, Or at least log them. These trucks will kinda semi open loop with just LTFT's disabled. I bet there still making corrections..

I made a few runs with the STFT's disabled and the VE is looking good. I do have a stumble or miss at higher throttle settings which I think is KR. Most of this tune is a modification of the stock Magnacharger tune and some SD VE tuning. Where do I go from here? Also does anyone know of a way to make my Interceptor OBD2 scan gauge read the 2Bar boost? Right now all I get is the 1Bar reading of a max boost of 1.2.

My PE is set at 1.090 across the board and my boost enrich starts at 1.13 and tapers up to 1.28 @ 135kpa and then maintains 1.28 the rest of the way across. Granted on yours it is going to use the richer of the two but your boost enrich table is set leaner then your PE table.

Thanks for the input, I went ahead and switched them around to match your. I will see what it does for me. I think that I finally got my VE dialed in, when I go out and log in SD mode I am pulling mostly 0's or 1's in the AFR error Histogram now. Just running around town my A/F Ratio pretty much stays around 14.

just glancing at your tune (trying to multitask), first on the OL & CL tab of your fueling area you have short term fueling enabled. Might want to disbale them to help track down your ve unless you are wittingly using them as your error correction for stoich driving. If so, good for you. You have your PE enables at 5500RPM, 55kpa, TPS% at 90% across the board. You look rich in the 2800 rpm column which is suprising considering your high demands for your PE enable. Anybody know if those pe enablers don't matter once you reach your BE kpa enabler? You know what I mean? You haven't hit 5500rpm yet and you are at 120kpa, will your fueling pay attention to the BE(since it's enable is 110kpa) or will it wait until you have reached ALL PE enablers?

If your happy were happy. LOL (ssppptt, you have **** loads of kr, in case you weren't aware, which btw only appears to be alot in the histogram cuz you have stock decay rates.)

Between PE and BE, the PCM will use the richer of the 2.

Yes, if you hit the BE table (105kpa+), the BE takes over. I would still set the PE RPM at 0 though.

If you ever notice, the RPM is not what youre thiking. Look at a dyno graph, PE is enabled right at WOT no matter if its at 2k or 6k. The RPM enabler is for when the TPS is NOT >90% or hasnt reached the MAP boundry.... say if youre very slowly going through the throttle and then it doesnt meet the TPS and MAP and then at 5500 it will enable PE.
