I'm running less timing than stock in some places ?!?!?
#1
So I figured out that the only way I'm ever gonna get this timing table to work with the A/C on is to tune it with the A/C on (I know...Duh !!)
I've been working on it for two days now and I'm finally to the point that I have NO KR (real or false) during a WOT run from idle -> 6200rpms. Here's the kicker though: from .36-.60 gms/cyl and 1400-3200rpms I actually have LESS timing than stock (averaging 1.5º less) in all other places in the table I've got between 3-7º more....I realize I upped the CR by almost a full point with the head swap and that I'm doing my tuning with the A/C on and 120º ambient temps but it suprises me that I'd actually end up with less timing than a stock '99 tune in places (albeit that there IS significantly more timing in other places)
