hptuners scan help
#1
I posted this on hptuners website but I didn't get any answers. Can someone look at my scan and tell me if they see anything wrong or if there is something else I need to do.
My 2000 z71 5.3 seems to not have as much power as it should. It has lt headers and a torque cam and tuned and locked by nelson so I can't get into the pcm. I didn't have hptuners at that time but I do now.
I don't have a wideband yet.

i dunno man, your telling us you think its down on power...many cams loose power over the stocker below 2 or 3 thousand rpm's so yeah maybe you did loose power down there...not sure what your question is other then that....thats one of the drawbacks with many cams is that you'll loose some low end for top end hp. Didnt look like you spun any higher then 3000 rpms in those logs so I would say its going to feel less powerful then the stock cam.

I put in a cam for more pulling power not top end. I have a vinci ultra torque cam. Specs are 210/218 .551/.551 116 lsa 48* overlap, crane 1.8 rockers, 2600 converter. I hauled a 4 wheeler in the bed and had to put it in drive because it wouldn't stay in overdrive. Any slight hill it would downshift. Any chance the 1.8 rockers can be causing this?
