Good advice Corey. Anyone else you've been following?

Some day, when I've done all of the major mods that I really want to do to my truck out of the way, I'd like to get EFILive and practice tuning my, scratch that...Tom's truck

I learned on a Ford, had nothing to lose...LOL. Seriously though, I started on a much simpler platform being Ford EEC-IV. I read until my eyes bugged out of my head for weeks on end about the design and function of modern day multi-port EFI, everything from what each sensor does and why, to air/fuel explanations, timing events, and then had to relearn it all for a GM platform. The principles are all the same, it just takes time. You should find a fuel injection book first and learn the basics. After that, the tables and concepts of VE are clear as day and tuning is a breeze.
