Default High-4 Headlights

I know on my 2000 Silverado all I had to do is run a ground wire from the ground side of the low beam headlight. Would this also work on my 2006 Silverado?

If you are refering to the headlight mod for $1, i tried that and although i did get it to work no matter how big of diode i used they would get SO HOT. I guess I'll just have to try it and see if the ol' ground wire works.
