Default Help installing Racetronix Hotwire Kit FPWH-017 99 NBS

This is on my 99 rcsb. Working on getting the Hotwire kit (FPHW-017) installed. Got a Stealth 340 pump in my stock bucket and a hotwire kit. Having trouble understanding how the kit works. I see that the kit plugs into the big plug on the pump, but there's nothing for the small 3 wire plug. Any insight on this? I cant find much for directions. Ill take some pictures tomorrow afternoon of what i'm working with to help.

This is the kit. You can see the 2 connectors in the picture. Do I just plug my stock 3 wire connector into the pump and use the big plug on the harness to my pump? What about the other small plug on the harness?

I now see that I need to swap out the wiring inside the pump, and swap the connector on the top of the pump with the white piece in the kit. I still dont get if the harness plug goes into the stock plug on the pump, or the new white one you swap in next to it?
And I dont know where the square plug from the harness plugs in.

This is my pump. The connectors on my truck harness are the same.

Problem solved. Someone replaced the stock pump in the truck at some point (330k, probably more than once lol) and they swapped the stock square plug for the newer plug.

Luckilly I saved a pump from my tahoe 5 years ago and the connector I cut off. Just have to swap plugs and all is well.

Hopefully this can help someone in the future.

Old plug on the left (factory) and new plug on right (installed with new pump)

The flat 4 pin bulkhead has twice the current carrying capacity of the old square plug. Is not recommended to run a large aftermarket feel pump on the old-style plug.

With the Hotwire kit, the old square harness connector is only turning on the new hotwire kit relay. The new harness powers the fuel pump.

^^ yes sir. Thats why it was such a god damn pain in the ***. That is only to tell the relay when to turn on and off, the new heavier gauge wires carry the current through a new style 4 pin bulkhead on the pump, through the new wires from the bulkhead to the pump. Made so much more sense once I found that out lol

Did you modify the bucket at all? I'm installing mine, I also had a question. Did you use the factory harness? What about the black connector on top of the fp, did you connect it back to the factory harness? Thanks for the help.
