Just got my truck tuned last friday. Put about 500 miles on it since and now, for no reason all dash lights (abs, brake,air bag, battery, cargo light).now come on and off randomly. is there anything I could look at? Anyone else have this problem?

Bump. Anyone know if there's a ground wire or something? Or could it be in the tune?

 

maybe a ground, is the alt. charging properly?

you drove this before the tune with. no problems right?

 

Alt. Is charging. Gauge reads fine. I drove if before and after tuning. I drove the truck literally all day before this happened. Went to get in it, fired it up and the lights all came on.

 

Are you using the same PCM ? Or a spare ?

Also have your tuner check to see if ( if I remember correctly) that terminal alt b is off , or something similar .

When I sent my spare PCM out for a base tune before I dynoed , my message center light would flash alt/charging , but everything was fine , had to set some values to not report .

Sorry I can't be more specific , I'll try to do some digging .

 

Its the same pcm. I just find it wierd this just started happening after driving it 400+ miles after the tuning, you'd think if it had anything to do with tuning, it would of happened from the start.

I just developed the same issue. UGGG

 

Check battery cables first stop at battery block and power distribution center

 

My battery light in the info center, abs, brake warning light, and airbag light blink on randomly. The air bag light will go through its seven blinks for self check and it goes out then. Weird huh
