help..all dash warning lights coming on and off randomly

I traced it down to the ground that goes from the firewall to the back of the head. This is the braided steel ground. It was loose. Tightened it up and hasn't done it since

Still chasing this down. Any other thoughts please share.
It is much worse cold in the morning. hardly does it at all by lunch time.

So the ground wire wasn't the issue I take it?

No , That did not fix it. Strange that it goes on and off 10 times on a short trip in the morning , but maybe once or not at all on the way home in the afternoon. Going to check some other grounds when I get time.

still haunted...

I had a work van do this- voltage spikes would restart PCM (dash) the auto place said it was fine, I changed alternator thinking regulator was going bad for some reason- problem went away.

Swapped out generators . no change. lights still come on randomly. any other suggestions welcome!

FOUND IT!
The connector at the top of the instument cluster has pins that protrude through the circuit board . the solder was cracked and the coneector was loose feeling. I touched the pins up with some solder and soldering gun and we are good to go now. Posting this up in case it can help anyone down the road.
