Default Going to tune using '99 PCM.....any helpful hints

I'm kind of stuck for now using the '99 PCM to tune with.....I know that it's much easier to tune an '02+ but a '99's what I have so I'm gonna use it

Can anyone give me any hints on tuning out or reducing the false knock that the '99/'00's are famous for ???, and any other helpful hints would be great as well
