2010 Silverado ......only runs for 10 minutes ..any one know if that time can be extended via EFI live ??

 

I dont think so unless you could get into the bcm but i think that would require a Tech II.

 

No, its hard wired in the BCM. You can extend to an extra ten minutes, it's in your owners manual.

While the truck is still running just press the lock button again and then start. This will extend the timer for 10 more minutes from whatever point it was at on the countdown. Either that or if it times out just do the lock and start sequence again to restart it. You can only restart, or extend time once giving a max of 20 minutes run time on the remote starter.

 

OK ....got excited there for a moment ........yes I realize you can extend it once its started I was hoping to have it set permanently to run 20 min ....like aftermarket ones ......the extend every time is PIA

So not in the pcm but in the BCM .......
