Default Getting tuned tomorrow last minute questions

I am getting my truck tuned in like 9 hours, I have some last minute questions. He said he can completely remove the torque management, I said I have been told via this website to keep 50% of it, he (vengeance racing) told me to take it all out, because it makes more power and makes the tranny last longer.
Is this true or even possible? I was gonna keep 50 percent of it as I was told. I am going to be running vette servos in a week and a huge tranny cooler when I get a chance to go to summit racing.

I think some tuners leave a little bit and some disable all of it but I don't think anyone keeps 50%.

TM is put in place to protect your tranny. IMO unles you have a shift kit and servos i wouldnt remove all of it but leaving 50% is a bit much. I may remove say 85-90%???

I will be getting a tune for my 07 NBS VMAX in about a month. If you add a shift kit and servo and remove all of TM. Will the shifts be too harsh? Or will the tuner figure that into his tune. I have not yet decided who will be doing the tune yet. Also I don`t race or do off road or tow. I just don`t like the way the truck drives. When I hit the gas pedal, I want the truck to go.

It depends on how the shift kit is set up, but generally as long as it isn't set up for harsh shifts and the tuner knows you have a shift kit then no the shifts will not be bad. Mine shifts with just a nice firm, quick engagement as long as I don't have my foot into it too hard. The more I have my foot down, howerver the harder the shift is.

my trans tried to slip in 2nd gear once. so i installed a Superior Super Servo kit.. i had enough to get a trans.. so i removed 100% TM and tried to kill it..... never could get it to slip again... then i went ahead and put a built trans in so i could install my turbo..

If you dont race i am not sure how much you will benefit froma shift kit vversus just increasing the line pressure to give you firmer shifts. however if you do a shift kit you need to let the tuner know so he can reverse that or you may break the tranny real quick. I have a shiftkit and at WOT break neck shifts. It definatley makes it more fun to drive.
