I TOOK 100% OUT.... TIME WILL TELL IF IM A DUMB ***.... THEN AGAIN I HAVE A 4.8 SO IT PROBBALY CANT DO MUCH

 

Really, I was kinda afraid to take out 100% and I have a 4.8.... Did others say that was ok?

 

YEAH I PRETTY MUCH HEARD FROM DEWEY AND MOST OF THEM THAT IT SHOULD BE OK.... ACTUALLY IF YOU LOOK YOU HAVE ABUSE WHICH I DISABLED THEN THE ENGINE TQ MANAGEMENT.... WHICH I JUST BASICALLY DISABLED IT ALL... IT DEFINITELY MADE THE SHIFTS MORE POSITIVE... BUT IT TOOK AWAY THE JUMP I HAD IN THE 1/2 SHIFT BECAUSE IT WASNT RETARDING TIMING AT EVERY SHIFT ANYMORE.... THEN I ZERO'D ALL THE SHIFT TIMES... WHICH IS SUPPOSED TO DISABLE THE ADAPTIVE LEARN SHIFTING.... IT SHIFTS QUICK, AND CAN BE A LITTLE HARSH... IM PROBABLY GONNA LOG AT WHAT TQ LEVEL THE HARSH SHIFTS ARE, AND JUST TUNE THOSE PRESSURES DOWN A LIL..... BUT OTHERWISE MY FIANCE HAS NO PROBLEM WITH THE WAY IT SHIFTS.... IT SCARES HER TO DRIVE IT, AND HER PARENTS SAY IT DOESNT SHIFT RIGHT..... BUT OH WELL.. THEY DRIVE A FORD, WHAT DO THEY KNOW

I MEAN IM SURE IT MAY HURT SOMETHING IN THE LONG RUN.... BUT BEING A 60E I THINK THE TQ OF THE STARTER COULD HURT IT

 

I have the vette servos on order. They probably wont be in there till after it gets tuned. Its getting tuned where I go to school (South GA) and my servos are being shipped to my parents house. I wont be back in town for two weeks. I am also picking up the biggest transmission cooler I can find at summit racing that fits my truck.
So between the two of those... Am I safe to take the majority of my Torque Management out of it? Maybe all of it? It makes it fun to drive eh?

And Vengeance was going to do it untill they changed their prices on me last minute. I have one guy in Millen GA that can do it and Matt from Statesboro who is apparently the man with GMs so he might do it too.

 

I would not leave my truck with ANYONE that made that dumbass statement.
