Get your EBCM repaired!
I found a couple of sites repairing EBCM's.

These guys are buying your broken EBCM for $50 if you've already replaced it.

These guys rebuild all kinds of stuff, including instrument clusters.
I think my EBCM was going to be like $150 rebuilt. The dealear wants over $600 new. Just thought i'd share. I haven't used them but I think I would try them.
