Default A few tuning issues

I am trying to work out a few bugs in my tune and can not figure out a few issues that i have been having for a little while now. Hopefully someone here can lend a hand. My details:

8.1L / Allison
Whipple supercharged @ ~6.5lbs
A2W intercooler
SD tune w/ EFILive COS3

so here are my two issues:

1. I can not get past 145kPa no matter what pulley i use. I have tried 2.75", 2.625", and 2.50" and all give me right around 143-145kPa, then drop off to around 135kPa after a few seconds. The belt is tight, and has pretty good wrap around the pulley (as good as you can have with that small of a pulley anyway). There are no leaks, at least none that are identified by the scan tool in EFILive. I tried pulling the intake tubing off to see if there was a restriction coming in like MIKE suggested, but it made no difference. So not really sure what to do here.

2. I have my AutoVE done for the most part and was working on tweaking some of the boostedVE table (A0009) because I had a few lean spots (1.02 -1.03 BEN's). This is when i noticed that my commanded VE (A0009) was quite different than what the scan tool was recording in those respective cells. My IATs were low enough that A0014 should not be having an effect on the cells and my ECTs were high enough that A0008 should not be having an effect either. Is there other places in this COS that effect final VE calculation?

I will be home all day if someone wants to stop by and fix this for me....

Here is a tun/log file to look at, check frames 5810 - 5875 for examples.

matter of fact, it seems that there are quite a few places, even in the mainVE that dont seem to be matching correctly. There must be another table i am missing someplace that is making calculations.

On your boost issue, the Whipple has an internal by pass valve right? Any way it getting pushed open a little at that boost level and leaking? does the actuator see boost to help hold it closed? Just some ideas...

How about the crank pulley? Is it pinned? Might be slipping...

Cool, thanks....and no, I dont have my crank pinned. But i would at least see it peak in the 150's at some point....at least once. It seem's real consistant at peaking around 145kPa.

LOL, you know me...i just want it all...LOL, and now I want 13.7x's..
I just want to really tweak this tune out but the VE thing has me perplexed.

Hmmm, i didnt think about that actually. I will have a look at the actuator tomorrow and see. I had assumed the actuator uses vacuum to hold it open (bypass the boost) and as vacuum decreases (more throttle/load) the actuator spring pulled the valve closed to allow boost. Maybe the valve is not closing all the way....hmmmm.

Here is a long shot. Have you checked the PCV circuit? my 05 8.1 runs a metered orifice in the intake manifold which will allow boost into the crank case.

Why the capitol letters? It makes it sound like it is my fault. I get enough of that at home. Everything is my fault. Anyway, I too like the idea of a bypass problem.

I believe Jamesbond2509 had some bypass issues when he was running the 2.XX pulley on his setup. Almost like the boost is overpowering the bypass, but the thing is you aren't running that high of boost he was at like 14psi or so. Maybe he will chime in.
